Photographing with Drones

Photographing with drones has the advantage that you can achieve a completely different perspective in photography with relatively simple means. We use DJI drones to film in 4K resolu- tion and to create interactive 360° panoramas. The 360° or 3D images can be displayed on Facebook/Google Maps or a web- site (desktop and mobile). We do not use Macromedia Flash but only HTML5.

Drone Cameras

Most drone cameras use 4K resolution for movies and have 12-16 Mega pixels. The lens covers an angle from 90° to 120°. For a 360° panorama 19 to 191 images are needed. The 3D images can have different sizes. Regulations in Switzerland

The regulations are decreed by the Federal Office of Civil Avi- ation FOCA. The flight areas are clearly divided. Special permits can be requested from skyguide.
